UNITRACC.com launches a new web design
Aug 31, 2017
With the new slogan "The Entire World of Underground Infrastructure" UNITRACC welcomes the users with a new and modern design. "Our previous layout did not satisfy the demands of modern mobile devices anymore”, says Dr.-Ing. Robert Stein CEO of visaplan GmbH and the Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stein & Partner GmbH.
Intuitive menu navigation
In close collaboration with our cooperation partner, the Trenchless Technology Centre from Ruston, Louisiana, US, and our in-house media designers, the new layout was developed.
CEO Dr.-Ing. Robert Stein: "The new layout of UNITRACC fulfils the current web design trends and the needs and expectations of users. The menu navigation is even more intuitive. Thanks to the modern design, the user experience is significantly enhanced. "
In the past, our web designers started developing desktop optimized pages. Today, the mobile version attracts much more attention within the development process. However, many topics require a certain screen resolution to maximise the user experience. Virtual construction sites, technical books with advanced multimedia elements, and the extensive e-learning modules require a certain screen size to allow a comfortable way of reading and learning. Therefore tablets are the most important mobile device for UNITRACC. In Addition to the technical innovations, a decisive change is in the enhanced usability. The navigation system is adjusted to the different topics by means of meaningful graphics and images. Several demos and examples at UNITRACC are accessible at any time and without registration.
