Pipe Restoration Technologies, LLC, (PRT) makers of the ePIPE®, Lead-Free Leak-Free, LeadSmart™ product lines, announced today that it has been granted its 17th U.S. patent, #9555453, related to its ePIPE System of “in-place” pipe restoration against leaks, harmful lead leaching and lead service lines.

Pipes can be protected in-place to protect against leaks and reduce leaching toxins, such as lead and copper. Pipes from as small as 1/2'' in diameter can be protected in-place using the patented ePIPE system and materials. Drinking water pipes, natural gas lines, HVAC, drains and fire sprinkler systems can be treated.

ePIPE is approved by NSF for an immediate return to service in as little as 90 minutes. The patented ePIPE epoxy coating process provides one of the fastest return to service epoxy lining products in the world, designed for protecting drinking water pipes from leaks and lead & copper leaching.
