Change in the Management of Kunststoffrohrverband e. V. (KRV)

He succeeds Dr. Elmar Löckenhoff, who has been managing KRV since 1997 and is gradually preparing for retirement following a phased model upon the turn of the year. After leaving KRV, Dr. Löckenhoff will continue to work part-time in another position within the industry.

The special commitment of Dr. Löckenhoff for more than 23 years has shaped the establishment of a high-level network among political and technical decision makers aimed at raising their awareness regarding the special performance of material solutions made of plastics. During these years, the public has increasingly recognised that plastic pipes are a sustainable, economically and ecologically efficient system solution for a reliable supply and disposal security in services of public interest.

Continuity and change

The challenges in the industry never stop. In Markus Hartmann, the association was able to find a successor who has extensive industry experience and technical know-how and who will set the course for a sustainable future development of the association through continuity and change.

After completing his studies with a degree in plastics and process engineering at the University of Paderborn, the engineer worked as deputy plant manager for extrusion (production) at Weka AG and in various responsible positions at EVONIK Resource Efficiency GmbH. In addition to his excellent technical expertise, Hartmann also has a confident demeanour on the political stage due to his longstanding political commitment in the City of Sendenhorst.
