WESTT Regional No-Dig Conference Slated for October 1-3 in Reno

Through an informative technical program and product exhibit area, participants will learn about the latest in trenchless technology from experts in the field. Public officials, engineers, utility company personnel, designers and contractors involved with constructing, rehabilitating and managing underground utilities will all benefit by attending this conference.

In addition to an outstanding technical paper program, the conference will feature two new post-conference seminars. On Oct. 2, the City of Reno Sanitary Engineering will offer an Infrastructure Management Course. This course will provide an in-depth overview of newer hardware and software tools available to collect and manage data, as well as review the history and evolution process of the City of Reno's infrastructure management system to where it is today.

NASTT will present a special seven-hour course on New Installation Methods - Application of Grade and Alignment and Control and Guidance on October 2-3. Taught by experts and industry leaders, Glenn Boyce, Ph.D., P.E. and Craig Camp of Jacobs Associates and Ray Sterling, Ph.D., P.E. of the Trenchless Technology Center, the course will cover the applications of auger boring, pipe ramming, pipe jacking and the pilot-tube method.
